All these endowments give us the power to change. To vision self- awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagine. These will come only when we spend time knowing ourselves. Getting knowledge of who we are, what we want and what we need is most important

Here are some ways we can spend “me time”:

The closest you get to yourself is when you are in a peaceful environment. A solo trip will give you the time to rejuvenate, relax and ease yourself. Along with giving you an insight of what lies within you.

Splash out to one of the best hotel in your city within your budget. Take a spa treatment and advantage of the hotel’s services. Such as steam showers, hot baths, tea rooms and rooftop pools. Make a day out of it.

  1. SIGN UP FOR A PHYSICAL TRAINING CLASS

Book yourself a class. With a preferred physical trainer, discuss your exercise and fitness goals and work towards them. After giving your body a hard time treat yourself with a glass of smoothie or fresh juice.

  1. LEARN A NEW SKILL

Join a class to learn a new skill. Could be anything. Dancing, singing, writing, craft or any other non-conventional skill just for some ‘me time’. Choose something that makes you feel content and go home with something.

  1. GO SHOPPING

Shopping is the best therapy for everyone. Go to the district center or mall and spend a few hours browsing the racks at your favorite boutique. Make sure that before you leave, you make a list of things you need. Or wish to add to your wardrobe. Shop for these pieces.
