A Hindu wedding is all about being extravagant and vibrant. And a Hindu bride is also a representation of this belief, she looks like a dream. For all those who don’t understand what I’m talking about here is our rendition of a Hindu bride and Hindu wedding.

  • DÉCOR

The décor of a Hindu wedding is very vivid and consists of a lot of warm hues such tints and shades of red and yellow. Florets and other tinsels are a very important part of the décor.

  • BRIDAL ELEMENTS

Our bride is wearing the traditional Hindu bridal hue but we wanted to add a hint modish to traditional. To make the look more relatable to the new age brides we’ve mixed the elegance of a traditional bride with an archetypical English charm. She wears an off-shoulder blouse and her dupatta as a veil which is secured by an intricate belt which highlights her waist. Her hairdo is inspired by Marilyn Monroe, which we attempted to Indianise. The pearls of her jewelry have a charm of their own. Instead of trying to match the jewelry we wanted to color break it and thus, the green pearls. The bride’s makeup has been kept very minimal with a lip shade that complements the bride’s skin tone.

  • STYL-INC’s Hindu Bride

Paying homage to our traditions while keeping in mind the likes of a modern girl, our bride is an amalgam of the past and the present. She is a visual representation of our bridal style curated under the guidance of our Founder/CEO Meha Bhargava.
