3 Super Hacks to make your HOLI even more fun

Super Hacks to Make Your Holi Even More Fun

Holi, the festival of colors can be rightfully called one of the most awaited day of the year. And all the dancing and fun on every holi makes it worth the wait. With so many Bollywood songs pictured with the holi backdrop the festival already has a glamour quotient added to it. We all want to recreate the looks we‘ve seen on screen but what’s even more important is to be prepared beforehand so that we can have fun thoroughly.

Every holi I bow down in front of coconut oil and make sure I apply generous amounts of it both on my body and on my head. I hate it when massive amounts or even traces of color are left back in my hair or on my body or face, needless to say how harmful they are. So before I start playing I apply coconut oil all over so that I have no regrets at the end of the day.

STYL-TIP: I personally recommend coconut oil as it spreads easily, prevents the colors from sticking and is easy to wash off.

Now let’s talk about adding some glamour to the festival. I love to put in my personal style even when I’m dressing for holi. My styl tip for this festival would be to keep is comfortable and simple. Never buy anything new for holi, instead mix and match from your old clothes for the chicest look. My personal favs are a loose tee with tracks or a knotted shirt with denim shorts. Not only are these pairing super cute but are supremely comfortable for you to run and dance around in. Those of you who have long hair can style their hair in a high bun with a scrunchie and those with short hair can use a scarf as a hairband for added chicness. Put on a funky pair of shades and wear comfortable footwear!

STYL-TIP: wear a sports bra for more comfort, as it’ll be easier to dance or run around in. Plus it’ll also look good if you plan to wear something sheer.

Now that the play time is over its time for some serious post holi care. It’s important to get all the color out of your hair and off your body. And if you will apply oil as suggested earlier then removing the color won’t be that big a task. Once all the color is out make a hair and body mask using Aloe Vera and coconut oil to prevent any rashes from happening and for an overall healthy skin and hair.

Enjoy holi to the fullest while making it glamorous simultaneously. Follow these hacks for a super fun day and for a ‘no color issues’ post the festival. For any further queries or to get styled reach us at STYL-INC.
