Styl.Inc’s very own take on the “Brides of Every Season”, a creatively conceptualised photoshoot. It’s an idea inspired by different and off-beat colours. Especially bridal lehengas that the new-age brides love to admire. Traditional colours are still favoured. But many brides look for eccentric colours and styles for their weddings.
The concept was merely based on the notion of each moment of the year has its own idea of beauty. Which showcases different ensembles for a bride taking inspiration from the distinctive colours and aesthetics of all seasons.
1. Spring Bride
We chose a yellow lehenga for this season, which is a fresh and off-beat color for a bride to wear! Taking inspiration from the muted hues of the dupatta, we paired it with gold and pearl jewellery. It looked stunning with her sunkissed makeup courtesy of Aakriti.
The off-beat colour went well with the bright décor. With hues of teal, orange and pink which were displayed using flowers and other ornaments & elements. The entire look was inspired by the freshness of the luminous colours and uplifting aura that depicts spring.
2. Summer Brides
We chose a pink lehenga that had muted green features with embroidered thread work and fine craftsmanship. The subtle nuances of color complimented the soft-dewy rose gold makeup. And softly curled open hair are what made it an ideal summer bridal look.
We styled it with a meenakari set which enhanced the outfit complementing the floral and green backdrop. The youthfulness of the ensemble went very well with the decor.
3. Autumn Bride
The ivory lehenga was synonymous with elegance and grace. We chose to style this with colourful meenakari jewellery with uncut diamonds and pearls. That gave it a sophisticated classy look.
The bronzed makeup look with a pop of golden highlighter played well with the jewellery and outfit. The stark contrast of ivory roses and the rustic elemental brought out the beauty of Autumn.
4. Winter Brides
Holly berry red is a true winter colour. This “tone on tone” lehenga looked absolutely stunning with added features of a feather dupatta. The signature combination of smokey eyes, burgundy lips and a well-sculpted face added boldness to the bride’s final look.
Even though the colour is quite traditional, the style is contemporary! And that makes it a unique choice. Especially for brides who want to incorporate traditional and modern components to their outfits! This look was a perfect illustration.
